The Branches  is the sensational album of the Russian Dj - Long Arm. Is one of the biggest albums of 2011!
Released by the label Project MoonCircle, which has as its focus the production of electronic music, experimental and alternative hip-hop, the album is a huge convergence of sounds, different genres and periods, which when exposed by the skillful hands of the Russian producer result in a kind of unique sound.
It has big influences of hip hop, jazz, downtempo and soul music.

"Long Arm took up music when he was a kid. In music school he studied how to play piano. He was really impressed by a DJ’s perfomance on one of the music channels when he saw it for the first time. It was difficult to get a turntable back then, so Long Arm and his friend started making them from old soviet phonographs/record players and collecting vintage vinyl records. Long Arm devoted all his free time to listening to those records. He spent his university years writing his own tracks, playing in various bands and participating in different projects. After his graduation he began working in Intelligent genre. His lifelong passion for jazz influenced his whole music style.

“The Branches” album is a reflection of a world, where human feelings and natural powers are bound together. Everything is correlated in this world. There is no alive-dead distinction. The season change depends just on state of mind. Every move, every wind breath, every sound brings an information, opened for everyone who believes and ready to accept it, who hears and knows how to listen."
